Hi Radek, using Cucumber with cypress is a valid option. However, the purpose of the post was to highlight the usage of cypress for API testing, which I thought could be better done using other tools, in order to avoid the browser usage.

I highly encourage you to write an article about using Cypress & Cucumber though; might be very helpful 🙂
